| Sophia Barr 
|
Sophia Barr was born in the USA and has been living as a freelance artist and teacher in Germany since 2022. She graduated from Chapman University in California with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. Sophia danced in the ´22 Tanzwuchs #6 residency in Freiburg as a solo choreographer, performed for Chantal Kohlmeyer's CREDO, and for choreographer Laura Heinecke‘s HERZ in Berlin. She has also recently joined the Elio Gervasi Tanz Company for the production of “Brown-1” in Vienna. Sophia also performs jazz, contemporary and ballet styles, as well as teaches movement and Pilates classes in Germany and Switzerland.

| Tina Besnard

Formée au Conservatoire de danse classique de Nancy, je me tourne ensuite vers la danse
Modern jazz et enseigne dans différentes écoles de danse. Parallèlement j’intègre les cours
de théâtre (Ecole Jacques LECOQ) au Centre National des Arts du Cirque où j’enseigne
également la sémiologie du spectacle.
En 2007, je commence ma formation au Butô et en explore les techniques, les origines et la
spiritualité auprès de maîtres en Normandie, Allemagne, et Japon.
Depuis je performe en France et à l’étranger, seule ou avec le Collectif Les Démons du thé
dont je suis directrice artistique. J’anime régulièrement des workshops de danse Butô.

| Daniel Blinkhorn 
|
Daniel is an Australian composer and new media artist who works extensively with
environmental sound.
He has worked in a variety of creative, academic, research and teaching contexts, and is a
lecturer in composition and music technology at the Conservatorium of Music, University of
Sydney.
He is an ardent location field recordist, where he has embarked upon a growing number of
recording expeditions throughout Africa, Alaska, Amazon, Australia, Cuba, West Indies,
Mexico, Madagascar, Middle East, Northern Europe, and the high Arctic/ North Pole region of
Svalbard.
His creative works have received a number of awards at important international composition
competitions, and whilst entirely self-taught in environmental sound, electroacoustic music
and sound art, Daniel has formally studied composition and the creative arts at a number of
Australian universities.

| Elena Boschi 
|
Born in Zimbabwe, of American/Italian origins, based in Italy.
An innate natural disposition and a professional ballerina grandmother are the first clues to have opened the awareness of a “dancing body”.
After experiencing and practicing various forms of dance, she joins and graduates in UK, with a degree in Contemporary Dance and Alexander Technique.
From 2001, begins focusing all studies in Butoh dance, which she firstly and mostly practices with Masaki Iwana.
She performs mainly as a soloist and continues to research and develop her own method of dancing within this underground niche.

Florent Colautti obtient un DEM (1er prix) de composition électroacoustique et instrumentale au conservatoire de Bordeaux. Il continue son parcours à Paris
et lors de formations en France et à l’étranger.
Il a collaboré avec des centres de création, compagnies et musiciens. Ses projets ont été présentés en France et à l’étranger.
Il a reçu un Prix Sacem, un 1er prix au concours «Vacances Percutantes» et sa pièce «Jupiter» est nominée par le prix du public et la Mention Bernard Donzel-Gargand pour le meilleur travail narratif au prix international d’art sonore Luigi Russolo. Il reçoit les bourses «Hessen-Aquitaine» et «George Sand-Frédéric Chopin».

| Yves Comeliau 
|
Acteur de formation, Yves Comeliau a été formé à la danse par Elsa Wolliaston. Il rencontre la danse Butô avec Gyohei Zaitsu.
En 2017 il crée "Souffle" au festival "En chair et en son #3", solo qui s'est ensuite produit plusieurs fois à Paris et en Belgique.
Il a récemment joué "Le Nouvel Être", un texte de François Augiéras, aidé par Maki Watanabe pour le travail corporel et chorégraphique.
Également ingénieur du son pour le cinéma et le spectacle vivant, la relation entre matière sonore et corps a de fait toujours été au centre
de ses pratiques artistiques et techniques.
Par ailleurs, il enseigne la pratique du théâtre notamment pour des publics dits "empêchés" et se forme au shiatsu depuis un an.

Alex Deijmann is a contemporary dancer, performer and cross-disciplinary improviser.
Alex has a very varied training and experience in many different movement disciplines specialising in Improvisation as a means to connect these disciplines.
Having improvised on stage and on site countless times and maintaining a practice of both group and solo improvisation with a focus on musical embodyment, variation,
originality and emotional connection/transmission.
Trained contemporary dance at Codarts and AHK amsterdam while alongside it training street styles in the scene with a primary focus on Popping. Learning from teacher
like Don and Noah Campbell, Slick Dogg, Lloyd Marengo, Salah, John Kwame and Archie Burnett. Along with an interest in the easthetics of and additional training in

| Denis Dufour  |
Parmi les pionniers de l’approche ‘morphologique’ et expressive du son, Denis Dufour est devenu un créateur sonore reconnu dans les domaines tant de la
musique instrumentale que de l'art acousmatique, avec près de 200 œuvres composées à ce jour. Enseignant de 1976 à 2021 dans les conservatoires de Paris,
Perpignan et Lyon, il est également chercheur, conférencier, conseiller et intervient dans des stages, ateliers et master classes. Par ses actions et sa
pédagogie il joue un rôle essentiel dans le développement de l'art acousmatique, particulièrement en France, Italie, Japon. Membre du GRM (1977 – 2000),
il contribue de façon déterminante à l’élaboration d’outils d'analyse ainsi qu’à la pratique du “temps réel”, électronique depuis 1978 puis informatique à partir de
1984. Organisateur et directeur artistique de nombreuses manifestations dédiées à la création contemporaine, il est à l'origine de plusieurs structures,
collectifs et formations instrumentales qui continuent d'irriguer la vie musicale. Ses œuvres instrumentales, vocales, mixtes, live electronic,
‘temps réel’ et acousmatiques sont éditées par Maison ONA.

Après une formation classique de violoniste, elle a joué au sein de divers orchestres symphoniques et ensembles de musique de chambre et rejoint
l'orchestre de l'Opéra de Lyon sous la direction de J. E. Gardiner,
Titulaire du D-E,elle a enseigné le violon pendant de nombreuses années et composé des pièces pédagogiques éditées.
Depuis, elle mène un travail personnel de composition et de recherche sonore pour la diffusion en concert.
Elle écrit également pour la danse, le Butô, le théâtre et l'image lors de collaborations régulières.

| Giosuè Grassia

Born in Naples, Italy Graduate: Disciplines of Arts, Music and Entertainment (D.A.M.S) at the University of Bologna Choral Music and Choir Conducting /Electronic Music at the Conservatory of Music San Pietro a Majella in Naples. He has been a professor at various Music Conservatory. He is currently director of the Conservatory of Music of Benevento (Italy), and professor of Electroacoustic Composition in the same institution. Always his musical interests range in different directions: immediacy to join the most unequal of music - experiments and combinations markedly multiple sound materials. As a composer and electroacoustic performer, he has participated in various concerts in Italy and abroad. He works using sound synthesis systems such as Csound, Pure Data, Supercollider. He works closely with the International Association Japanese Min-On Concert Association, and in 1989 he received the prestigious Min-On Art Award recognition in Tokyo. He is the author of electro-acoustic music often with vocalists, choir and unconventional instruments, sound installations and endeavor in the search for residual sound materials by working and experimenting. | Joséphine Grundy 
|
Josephine Grundy (UK/France) is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher based in Barcelona.
Since she was a child she has always been close to music and visual art, and in her butoh practice she explores different possible relationships between body, voice and sound, different materials, and physical matter in general.
She has a degree in Human Sciences from University College London and a diploma in the Lecoq physical theatre method, as well as extensive training in vocal technique.
She began to study butoh dance in 2004 and has been developing her own work ever since, collaborating with other artists and performers, and giving regular classes and workshops.

Danseuse, performeuse, chorégraphe née en Hongrie et vivant actuellement en Charente.
Elle a étudié
la danse contemporaine, le théâtre gestuel, et pratique le yoga depuis 2001. Elle a pris part
en Hongrie,
en Espagne et en France, à de multiples projets chorégraphiques et de théâtre de
mouvement. En 2012 elle fait la rencontre du butô, qui influence depuis sa danse et sa
création. C’est tout particulièrement le travail de Masaki Iwana qui l'inspire. Elle considère la
danse comme un travail à la fois physique et spirituel, laissant le corps « chercher sa danse
». Au centre de ces intérêts, il y a des sujets comme les interrelations homme– nature et l'état
de l'abandon. Elle crée des spectacles et des performances sur scènes et en dehors. Elle
anime des ateliers de danse et de mouvement pour adultes, jeunes et enfants.

At the age of 14, I encountered Harada Nobuo, a master of Butoh, and entered the world of dance. During my twenties, I faced a series of days when I couldn't dance due to injuries. However, in 2022, I reunited with Harada Nobuo and resumed my Butoh journey. Currently, I serve as the Representative Director of Association Circulus Planning, an organization mainly involved in planning Butoh performances. |

A dancer and performance artist, Anna's journey in butoh began in 2008, quickly evolving into her predominant practice. She’s drawing from its playful and provocative techniques, exploring shadows and “forbidden colours”.
She performed in renowned venues including Nowy Teatr, Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Poland and KANAL – Centre Pompidou in Brussels.
She’s been collaborating with various artists, merging dance with diverse mediums like video, sculpture or painting. Her teachers include Atsushi Takenouchi, Yoshito Ohno, Yukio Waguri, Yuko Kaseki, Juju Alishina, Joan Laage, and Tetsuro Fukuhara, with whom she also worked at Tokyo's New Butoh Space Dance residency.

Je suis diplômée du cursus d'improvisation libre de Philippe Pannier, ainsi que du cursus de musique assistée par ordinateur dispensé par Jean Yves Bernhard
au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional du 93.
J'ai déconstruit et diversifié ma pratique instrumentale classique pour découvrir de nouvelles formes artistiques et collaboré avec le théâtre, le cinéma et la danse.
La transmission artistique tient une place centrale dans mon parcours, j'ai enseigné le violoncelle dans différentes écoles de la région parisienne et animé des ateliers d'improvisation.

I aim to create works that embody experiences the spectator can relate to on a visceral level.

Joan Laage/Kogut Butoh settled in Seattle in 1990 after living in Tokyo where she studied with Kazuo
and Yoshito Ohno and performed in Yoko Ashikawa’s group Gnome. Known as Kogut (rooster) since
living in Krakow 2004-2006, Joan performed at the 2022 En Chair et En Son Festival, at Tenri’s butoh
festival three times and at Boris Vian organized by Moeno Wakamatsu. Known as the NW pioneer (USA),
she is featured in Tanya Calamoneri’s Butoh America. Joan is a professional gardener and longtime Tai
Chi practitioner. She will teach a butoh workshop in Paris on December 2 [laagekogut@fastmail.com].

Compositeur, musicien électroacoustique Né en 1974 ,Vincent Laubeuf a étudié la composition auprès de Denis Dufour et Jean-Marc Duchenne. Ses rencontres avec Pascal Dusapin, Brian Ferneyhough ou plus récemment Gérard Pesson lui ont permis de compléter sa formation de compositeur. Il est aujourd'hui invité dans les studios de l'Imeb, de l'Ina-GRM, du Grame ou de la Muse en Circuit et écrit pour des ensembles tels que Syntax, In Extremis, l'Ensemble orchestral contemporain ou l'Instant donné. Ses œuvres sont jouées aussi bien en France (Futura à Crest, cycle Multiphonie du GRM, le Palais de Tokyo, Le Grand Palais pour Monumenta, Festival Extention de la Muse en Circuit, La Ferme du Buisson, La Gaîté Lyrique, au Lieu Unique...) qu'à l'étranger (Pékin, Tokyo, New York, Festival Archipel à Genève, Musica Electronica Nova à Wroclaw, Pologne...). Ken Mai is a Japanese International Butoh Artist, Yogi, Choreographer, and Teacher based in Helsinki, Finland now.
He has been performing & teaching in more than 30 countries. He studied with Legend Butoh Founder "Kazuo Ohno and he also studied the roots of another Butoh founder
"Tatsumi Hijikata" through the Sub Rosa Butoh Company which was related to the Byakko-sha Butoh Company at the beginning of the `90s in Kyoto, Japan. Same time he was also member of well known "Otoya & Sumiko Modern Dance Company(German Expressionist Dance) in Osaka, Japan. During the Butoh practiced time into Zen Meditation at Zen Monastery for 16 years in Kyoto as well as practiced Ancient Hatha Yoga which studied at Patanjali International Yoga Foundation in Rishikesh, India. Since then he has studied Veda, Buddhism, Tantra, Mystic, etc. He has already created the Meditation dance, Chakra dance, and Tantra dance. |
| Grégoire Manhes

Chorégraphe/danseur, compositeur/musicien ou plus récemment réalisateur, Grégoire Manhes est avant tout passionné par la création. Il commence la danse et la musique dès son plus jeune âge et entre au CNSMD de Lyon en tant que danseur classique. Durant cette période, il fait ses premiers pas en tant que chorégraphe et co-fondera la Duck-Billed Company en 2020.
Amoureux de l'absurde et du cinématographique, il y développe une gestuelle où musicalité et étrangeté chorégraphique se rencontrent. Convaincu que c'est en croisant les regards que les plus beaux projets émergent, Grégoire est en perpétuelle recherche de nouvelles rencontres.

Jutta Mayer est une danseuse, performeuse et chorégraphe d’origine autrichienne.
Initiée à la danse Butô et à d’autres formes de danse par plusieurs maîtres en Europe et au Japon, elle se produit depuis 2011 en divers salles et espaces publics avec des solos, duos et en collectif en France et à l'étranger. Elle se forme au chant et à la photographie.
La collaboration avec des artistes d’autres disciplines (musique, peinture, vidéo, sculpture, littérature) constitue un fil rouge dans son activité artistique.
Depuis 2012 elle est membre du groupe de recherche et création en danse Butô « Tacuabé ».

Luigi Morleo (born 16 November 1970 in Mesagne, Province of Brindisi) is an Italian percussionist and composer of contemporary music, who lives in Bari and teaches at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory. He uses varied musical and artistic styles like minimalism, rock-cross-over, folk-Pop, jazz, electronica and DJ. Olivier Moulaï est un artiste sonore basé dans le sud de la France, à Rivesaltes.
Après un diplôme aux Beaux-Arts de Perpignan et un parcours professionnel de vidéaste, il entame en
2018 des études de composition électroacoustique au conservatoire de Perpignan et développe un
travail de création sonore en lien avec les arts plastiques, l’image et la danse.
Ses pièces sont diffusées dans le cadre de festivals en France et à l'étranger dont Chicharra – festival de
recherche sonore à Almonte (Espagne) en 2023, et En chair et en son – rencontres internationales danse
et musique acousmatique à Ivry en 2023.
Parallèlement, il travaille comme monteur son et image, notamment sur la mini-série documentaire
Regards d’archéologues réalisée par Aurélie Albaret en 2022-2024.

Mai Nguyen Tri is a French Vietnamese dance artist based in London. 35 years ago, between Brittany and Vietnam, Mai found her creative nest in East London. There, she set home to bring together her multiple identities, and contradictory facets of her arts between the rebellious and the poetical aspect of her Zen/ Punk Butoh dance. Drawing from her literary background, eclectic dance training, and passion for storytelling, Mai’s tragi-comic Butoh theatre mirrors the spiraling journey between life, death, and rebirth. Specializing in site specific performances, Mai also brings her explosive energy to street festivals, night clubs, art galleries or theatres. Her dance practice is based on structured improvisation, performing solo her own choreographed Butoh dance pieces, or dancing in collaboration with improvisational live musicians, poets, and visual artists. |

Interested in soundtracks Philippe Petit likes to be introduced as a “Musical-Travel-Agent”. Since the early 2000s Philippe has been performing the world, playing festivals all over Europe, Russia, Poland, Canada, USA, Mexico, Australia & Asia, and releasing on several international labels such as Cronicà Electronica, Aagoo, Southern UK, Monotype, Bölt, Beta Lactam Ring, Sub Rosa, HomeNormal, Important, Public Eyesore or Staubgold.
Philippe studied Composition & Electroacoustic music at the CNRR Conservatory of Marseille where he specialised in multi-channelled diffusion (Acousmatic spatialisation) and Modular Synthesis. Relying on electricity/amplification, vintage synths to produce, manipulate, sculpt his “electronic abstractions" and plastic sound-objects, Philippe is constantly trying his best to explore various genres and make sure that each album differs from the previous one, trying to avoid routine and surprise listeners.

Compositrice, aventurière de l'écoute, Lucie Prod'homme explore le son de
l'ntérieur, joue de son énergie, sonde les minuscules palpitations de la matière
sonnante et nous incite à écouter.
Qu'elle étudie l'immobilité ou l'agitation extrême, le silence ou le bruissement, le
paisible ou l'effervescence tumultueuse, sa préoccupation reste la même; induire une
attitude perceptive intense en composant aussi l'écoute de l'auditeur, l'exhortant à
tendre une oreille attentive et engagée.
Lucie Prod'homme est professeure de composition électroacoustique et
instrumentale au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Perpignan-Méditerranée,
où elle coordonne le département Composition, création et sonore et improvisation.

G. Re (Italy, 1998) is a versatile artist and performer. In Barcelona she specialized in circus, contemporary dance and Butoh.
Truth and purity can be found in the themes’ choice and the aesthetic that binds her works. Endowed with an intrinsic dramaturgy,
G.’s body is a mirror to be reflected and recognized in a yearning for physicality and emotions. Circus led the performer to consider
her body as a temple, Butoh and dance have approached it in the study of detail and presence, drawing and sculpture have explained to the artist how to
translate into marks and volumes her ideas.

Après un cursus aux Beaux Arts, il développe un travail plastique où la place du corps est omniprésente. Comédien au sein de différentes compagnies, il découvre la danse Butô en 2006 auprès de Gyhoei Zaitsu, une rencontre marquante, qui l’amènera à poursuivre ses recherches auprés des danseurs Tadashi Endo, Atsushi Takenoushi, Yumiko Yoshioka, Maki Watanabe. Désormais le Butô se place au cœur de ses recherches en écho à son univers plastique, au croisement de la performance et d’un Théâtre Dansé. |

Jorge Sad Levi Buenos Aires (1959). He has studied composition at Buenos Aires Catholic University and at Université de Montréal.
He has been distinguished with the First Prize at the City of Buenos Aires Composition Contest . He has been working in acousmatic , mixed and multimedia
compositions in many different studios around the world , like LIEM and Phonos ( Spain) , CCRMA , Wisconsin University at Stevens Point ( USA) , GRM ( France) ,
IPM ( Buenos Aires) , Musiques & Recherches (Belgium) with the support of national and international institutions.He teached Electroacoustic Composition at the
Alberto Ginastera Conservatory for 20 years. He is currently professor of Musical Semiotics at the University of Tres de Febrero His works are published in Babel Scores;
Discs by Luscinia, Elektra Music Alina Records and Plus Timbre.

Sa musique est parfois primée (Prix Presque Rien en 2017, Concours de Bourges IMEB en 2007). Quelques structures artistiques lui passent des commandes : Compagnie Motus , Mixtur, Musiques Démesurées, CIMN, GRM , L'Ecart, Collectif éOle, IMEB.
En 2021-22, il est artiste associé au festival Musiques Démesurées.
Depuis 4 ans il se produit sur scène en live sous forme de soloset dans les espaces très réverbérant ainsi qu’avec un programme de siestes sonores.

Valentino Santarcangelo born in Benevento February 11, 1982 while showing his interest in music from an early age he began taking piano lessons only at the age of 15 but since then he has never stopped his musical climb. His will and tenacity led him to approach other musical instruments but finding his mere expression in the drums. Over the years he has joined various musical groups such as "Fuori Fase" (2000), "La Piccola Orchestra A Manovella" (2003), also with the interpreter M'Barka Ben Taleb (2005), "Purple Haze" (2007), "I Compagni di Berta" (2009), implementing the knowledge of various musical genres also leading him to be part of national as well as European tours and to record and perform various music CDs such as "Alto Calore" with M'Barka Ben Taleb. In the same years he simultaneously increased his musical artistic life by collaborating with various DJ sets and sound engineers, getting even closer to the study of "sound". The "technical" part fascinates him to such an extent that he also begins to collaborate with cameramen following both the audio and video part of various music and cinema video clips including the film "L'Evento" (2013) shot entirely in the city of Benevento and the documentary film “The Man Behind The Woman” with director/actor/singer Enrique Del Pozo . His desire for growth led him to devote himself to electronic music following his studies at the "Nicola Sala" State Conservatory with the best teachers where he completed his studies in Electronic Music with an address in composition with electroacoustic means. |

Ingénieur de formation et compositeur autodidacte, Michel Titin-Schnaider se passionne pour le son et la liberté qu'offre la composition
electroacoustique. Sa recherche associe l'univers instrumental, souvent à partir de banques de sons virtuels, et les techniques de transformation
du son propres à la musique electroacoustique. "Composer c'est imaginer avec des sons". Il a produit 15 albums. Il crée en 2007 l'association Aventures Electro Acoustiques "AEA" dans le but de promouvoir la musique electroacoustique par le biais de projets transdisciplinaires, vidéo et surtout danse. En 2008 une danseuse butô le contacte pour pouvoir utiliser sa musique lors de ses performances. Il découvre alors cette danse qui va le passionner. Depuis, il organise régulièrement des évènements dans lesquels danseurs et public sont immergés dans l'oeuvre musicale : Cycle "Palimpseste", "Butô dans mon jardin" à Brunoy, projet "Wireless butô". En 2015, grâce à l'aide du centre de création numérique Le Cube et de la compagnie MOTUS il crée le festival "En Chair et en Son" Site de Michel Titin-Schnaider |
